The event, co-organized by ROADPOL member Spanish Guardia Civil took place 14-16 November and was hosted by the Spanish Civil Guard Traffic Academy in Merida, the autonomous community of Extremadura, Spain.

The goal is to make motorists aware of the consequences of drug use. The latter has been the cause to an increasing number of road crashes in France.

Irish Road Safety Authority (RSA) chairwoman Liz O’Donnell has endorsed Garda's plan to introduce more average speed cameras and has vowed to support its fight for 20% speed cameras budget increase.

For the first time the Traffic Police Department of the Presidium of Slovakian Police together with the Secondary Vocational Police School in Pezinok organized an international competition of traffic police officers called „Trafficpol Race 2023“.

Тhe operation under the Focus On The Road stamp was carried out in October by members of the European Roads Policing Network and targeted prohibited use of mobile phones, other technical devices and other forms of distraction.
