As part of this year’s ROADPOL Safety Days, taking place from 16 to 22 September, ROADPOL is launching a Pan-European Photo Contest dedicated to the theme of safety and risk awareness for two-wheeler users.
Focus
The focus of the campaign includes bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, powered or self-propelled, carbon or electric. Two-wheeler users are among the most vulnerable on the road. The campaign aims to highlight the importance of responsible behavior on the road – not only by the riders themselves but also by the drivers who share the road with them.
We invite both amateur and professional photographers to submit engaging, thoughtful, and visually compelling photos that creatively capture:
- Safe riding practices
- Mutual respect between road users
- The real-world challenges faced by two-wheeler users
- Positive or negative examples of behavior – the latter only when clearly exposed and condemned
All individuals shown in the photos must be in full compliance with traffic regulations – including mandatory helmet use regardless of local or national variations in regulation. Any depiction of unlawful behavior must serve a clear educational and cautionary purpose.
Winners
A ROADPOL-appointed jury will evaluate the submissions and select winning entries. The selected photographs will be prominently featured in the official 2025 ROADPOL Safety Days public awareness campaign, reaching millions of road users across Europe through visual messages distributed via social and traditional media.
Submission Deadline: 15 June 2025
Send your entries to: media@roadpol.eu
Help us spread the message: Every road user matters. Every photo can make a difference.
ROADPOL Safety Days campaign is run under the STRIDER III project co-financed by the European Commission.
