André Schaack (born 1970) has over 25 years of experience in traffic safety and legislation.
- Education: He attended Lycée Technique Nic Biever-Dudelange and Lycée Technique Victor Hugo Esch/Alzette, where he studied as an Electro Technician from 1984 to 1988. Afterward, he completed his military service and attended the National Police Academy from 1988 to 1991.
- Career Path: André joined the Gendarmerie Grand-Ducale in 1992 and transitioned to the Special Units of the National Traffic Police in 1996. He served at the Regional Directorate of Grevenmacher/Traffic Police from 2002 to 2009 and then moved to the General Operational Directorate, focusing on traffic safety and legislation. In 2018, he became part of the National Traffic Department, and since 2022, he has served as its Head.
- Teaching and Representation: Alongside his operational roles, André has been a teacher at the National Police Academy since 2006. He has been a member of the National State Traffic Commission since 2009 and participates in various national and international working groups. He also represents the Police of Luxembourg in BENELUX, ROADPOL, and the Greater Region since 2009.
