I graduated from the Police Academy in Rome at 24 and began my career as an investigator, tackling burglaries, robberies, and drug-related crimes. I also managed territorial patrols, leading the “Flying Squad.” While it was a role of great responsibility and excitement, my most rewarding moments came from engaging directly with the community—working alongside neighborhood officers and visiting schools to meet children. The greatest personal satisfaction in our work comes from the human connection: knowing that people trust you and that you can truly help them.

Thirteen years later, I embraced a new challenge by joining the Traffic Police. It was a steep learning curve, but I discovered a new way to make a difference. Through prevention, awareness campaigns, and close monitoring, we can genuinely save lives. I’ve never felt more fulfilled in my role.

Today, I serve as Deputy Commissioner of the Italian State Police and Chief of Traffic Police for the Province of Cremona. Alongside my practical experience, I hold a degree in Law with top honors and an MA in Public Communications. However, the most valuable lessons I’ve learned have come from my time on the streets.

I have been a member of ROADPOL’s Executive Committee since September 2021, and Vice President since September 2022. Despite my busy schedule, I make sure to spend every free moment with my husband, children, and dog.
