I have been a member of the police of Lower Saxony for more than 40 years now. The centre of my life is in Düshorn, a rural region in the north of Germany. There I initially worked in the operational and patrol service of the local police station, later in its staff and in the Lüneburg police authority in various functions of cimefighting an road safety tasks.

After five years in the Ministry of the Interior as a consultant for traffic police operations  and operational matters I went to our police academy.

Since 2014, I have been the head of a study section at the Police Academy in Nienburg, where I am responsible for central training and further training in the topics of operations, traffic and organisation.

And now I am responsable for the matters of the ROADPOL network and activities in the federal polices in Germany.
